first decade

Today our son turned 10. Congratulations, Matthew! We love you!

We've been celebrating for the better part of a week, it seems. And tomorrow's installment will involve an early departure from school, a quick trip down to the lake, and a couple of hours in a certain domed stadium watching a certain favourite ball team...

Happy Birthday Matthew! From me, Tante Marlene and the rest of the Epps. Keep an eye open for any fowl balls!

I have been with Matthew at sporting events - and he will be watching very closely!

Not like my 'non athletically interested' sister whom was at the same dome several years ago. Took a foul ball off her noggin while reading her newspaper. Fortunately the stitches were in her eye brow - no lasting visible scar, and I suspect the ride on the stretcher on national TV was kind of cool.

What is that saying about leading a horse to a ballgame?
